1. India wins ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026
India defeated New Zealand in the final at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
India became the first team to win the T20 World Cup three times and also the first to win back-to-back titles (2024 & 2026).

2. India will contribute 17% to global GDP growth
According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), India is expected to account for about 17% of global real GDP growth in 2026, making it the fastest-growing major economy.
3. Raisina Dialogue 2026
The 11th Raisina Dialogue began in New Delhi.
It is India’s flagship conference on geopolitics and geo-economics involving leaders, policymakers and scholars worldwide.
4. Tamil Nadu Women Entrepreneur Empowerment Scheme (TWEES)
Launched by Tamil Nadu government on International Women’s Day (8 March).
