In the early vice-presidential election held today, C. P. Radhakrishnan of the BJP-led NDA secured the position, garnering 452 of the 752 valid votes. He defeated opposition candidate B. Sudarshan Reddy, who received 300 votes. This marked the first early election for the post since 1987. -
