Applications on the plain paper, duly affixed with passport size photograph, are invited from the eligible candidates of the permanent Residents of J&K State for filling-up of the following positions on contractual basis on the consolidated remuneration, in order to establish viral Research and Diagnosis Laboratory, (VRDL), under the scheme of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Govt, of India, in the Department of Microbiology Govt. Medical College, Srinagar, for a period of one year

Posts Details

Research Scientist-1 (Medical)

MD/DNB Microbiology from MCI recognized Medical College/lnstitute.
OR
MBBS from MCI recognized Medical College/lnstitute with, (03), years research experience.

Desirable:
Experience in ICMR/DHR/IDSP/CSIR/DBT/any other project/Medical College.
Publication in indexed Journal.
Knowledge of computer application/Data Management.
Note: Preference will be given to the candidate having highest Medical Qualification.

Salary : Rs. 43,489/-

Research Scientist-1 (Non-Medical)

M.Sc (Medical Microbiology/Virology/ Microbiology/
Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/
Life Sciences), from recognized University.

Desirable :
Ph.D (Medical Microbiology/Virology/ Microbiology/Biotechnology/Mole cular Biology/Life Sciences), shall be counted as a two years of research experience.
Experience in ICMR/DHR/IDSP/CSIR/DBT/any other project/Medical College.
Having research publication in indexed Journal.
Knowledge of computer application/Data Management.

Salary : Rs. 33,306/-

Research Assistant

M.Sc (Medical Microbiology/Virology/Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Life Sciences), from recognized University.

Desirable : 
Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in ICMR/DHR/IDSP/CSIR/ DBT/any other  Project/Medical College/ Govl. Institute.
Knowledge of computer applicalion/Data Management.

Salary : Rs. 19,481/-

Laboratory Technician

B.Sc. (MLT), from recognized University, (Registered)
OR
Diploma MLT from recognized University Registered).

Desirable : 
The candidate having experience in Govt.  institution in ICMR/DHR/IDSP/CSIR/DBT/any other project/Medical College.
Knowledge of computer application/Data Management.
Note: The preference will be given to candidate having B.Sc/MLT over the DMLT.

Salary : Rs. 15,080/-
