ICSC Kashmir Launch of Pre-admission Counselling at District Lead Colleges / Degree Colleges in Kashmir Division

Launch of Pre-admission Counselling at District Lead Colleges / Degree Colleges in Kashmir division under Psychological cum Career Counselling and Placement initiative of Higher Education Department

To choose a career path it is essential to join a programme of choice for which a student needs to understand the courses offered with their intake capacity, eligibility, outcomes and career progression. In this regard, to provide clarity and counselling to the aspirants who wish to join any of the programmes offered by the Degree Colleges of Kashmir Division, comprehensive on-campus pre-admission counselling programme is going to be held for one week from 23rd of March, 2021 onwards in all Degree Colleges of Kashmir Division. The Pre-Admission Counselling will be conducted either at District Level College or at Zonal Level College or at individual College level as per the programme framed by the Principal of District Lead College.

The aim of the endeavor is to place information before a student so that he/ she is able to decide the programme which will make him/her to complete the programme in terms of comfort level and desired outcomes.

On campus Pre-Admission Counselling is an endeavor by the Colleges to reach out to the student community to provide them guidance and help them to get familiarized about programmes offered, career opportunities, outcome of progression paths etc.

Pass-out students from all Higher Secondary Institutions can attend Pre-Admission Counseling Schedule as notified by respective Lead College or College Principals of the District.
