Shortlisting for Class IVth in Directorate of State Motor Garages
It is notified for the information of all concerned who have applied for the post of “Helper, Cleaner, Chowkidar, Orderly and Safaiwala. advertised by this office vide Notice No: RCD-886/1835-43 dated 26.6.2014 & re-advertised Notice No: RCD-886/2948-74 dated 26.10.2016 that:
In view of the bulk num. of applications received for 30+11 total 41 posts of various categories of Class-IV posts, It became necessary to short list the candidates In the ratio of 1:10.
At present the department has 51 Class-IV posts vacant In various categories as such the cut of merit to such posts has been worked out as under and candidates short.. as per Annexure to this notification:
The shortlist of the candidates has been prepared as per the cut off merit on the basis of 75 Points awarded on pro-rata basis In Matric, 05 points on Flat basis for 10+2 qualification and rest of the 20 points for interview. The example of the formula for calculation of poi. is given here under:
The applicants other than short Listed candidates are accordingly advised to calculate their points as per formula mention. In the above table and In case they find their merit above the cut off points can approach the office of Director, State Motor Garages Department, Bemina Bye Pass Road Srinagar within 21 days from the publication of this notice with supporting certificates/ documents after which no claim shall be entertained.
