Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS) Bengaluru is one of the Premier Research Establishment of Defence R&D Organisations involved in Design and Development of Airborne Early Warning & Control Systems (AEW&C) & other Projects in the field of Airborne Surveillance.

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FORAWARD OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (JRF) Fellowship Vacancies: (18) A panel of candidates would be operated for filling future vacancies in the order of merit/discipline for a period of one year from the date of declaration of Panel. Discipline wise vacancies(including projected vacancies)are as following:

Application Procedure :

The duly filled application in the format furnished below should be sent to the email ID [email protected] . Application form can also be downloaded from What’s new section of DRDO website (www.drdo.gov.in). The signed application in specified proforma to be submitted through email along with self-attested and scanned copies of required certificates or degrees. Last date for receipt of application is 21 days from the date of publication of advt. in Employment News. Applications received incomplete/after due date shall be rejected.

General Instructions :

1. Candidates should scan the applications & supporting documents in a single PDF file with size not more than 10 MB. (file Name based on : Discipline _ Candidates name in full).

2. The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mentioned in percentage. In case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into percentage as per their university norms.

3. Candidates serving in Govt. department/PSUs/Autonomous body should apply through proper channel. Candidates shortlisted for interview should submit/upload ‘No Objection Certificate’ before interview to the above E-mail ID.

4. In case of online interview, candidates shall ensure the internet connectivity, Webcam & necessary Software at their end to attend online interview (through Video Conferencing) on their own. CABS/DRDO shall not be responsible for any connectively failure or communication faults during interview.

5. It may be noted that offer of fellowships does not confer on Fellowship any right or absorption/employment in DRDO.

6. Antecedents of selected candidates will be verified at the time of joining. In case deficiency of any type in the documents, the candidature would automatically stand cancelled.

7. Declaration of panel merely shall not mean award of JRF. A formal letter shall be sent based on future vacancies in the panel in the order of merit. 8. Candidates may be given information through e-mail, therefore, they are advised to check e-mail regularly.
