Srinagar-Jammu Highway re-opens after 4 days
Traffic to ply from Jammu to Srinagar on Friday: IGP
Feb 15: After remaining closed for four days, the Srinagar-Jammu highway was thrown open for vehicular traffic late Thursday evening.
Inspector general of police (Traffic) Basant while talking to Greater Kashmir said, “The highway has been thrown open for one-way traffic. .u r at jkupdates.Our first priority is to clear the stranded passenger vehicles on the highway and in Jammu outskirts.”
The IGP said, “If weather allows, vehicles would ply from Jammu to Srinagar on Friday.”
