Krishi Udyami Engagement Process Reopened in Ramban District
Engagement of Krishi Udyami (KU) / Agriculture Entrepreneur – District Ramban (Phase-II)
Reference :
Circular instructions issued by the Mission Director, Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) under endorsement No. E-7358056/Plan-2/2/2023, dated 07-02-2023.
Notification Details
In view of the withdrawal of candidature by the selected candidate in Panchayat Bangra and reluctance of the candidate from the waiting list to join (as per Notification No. 03-Selection of 2025 dated 27-05-2025 and endorsement No. DDCR/Plg/KUS/2025-26/698-702 dated 27-05-2025), the recruitment process for engagement of Krishi Udyami in Panchayat Bangra is hereby notified again.
Applications on the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of Krishi Udyami (KU) on a contractual basis for a period of two years, extendable as per terms and conditions laid down in the contract agreement.

Number of Positions :Â
One (01) position across pre-identified Panchayat at Kisan Khidmat Ghar level of District Ramban, i.e., Bangra.
Engagement Duration :
Initially for a period of two years, with the possibility of annual extension subject to satisfactory performance of the PLE.
Educational Qualification :
Diploma in Agriculture & Allied Fields or
Graduation in Science (B.Sc.) or
Graduation in Agriculture & Allied Fields (B.Sc./BVSc)
Additional Preference:
Candidates possessing post-graduation in Science/Agriculture & Allied fields and computer diploma/certification will be preferred.
Recognized Diploma Courses Include:
Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Sciences, Forestry, Fisheries, Sericulture, Agri-Engineering, BHT, BAT from a Government-recognized institution.
Recognized Degree Courses Include:
B.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Sericulture, B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering, BVSc & AH from a Government-recognized institution.
Computer Qualification:
Diploma/Certification in computers of three months or more duration from a Government-recognized institution.

Job Profile
To operate Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in Jammu & Kashmir, as per details mentioned in Annexure-C.
Remuneration
The engagement is based on a self-earning / entrepreneur basis. Full details of KKG operations are provided in Annexure-D.
