Recruitment in GMC Rajouri

Applications are invited as per prescribed format from eligible candidates who are domicile of UT of J&K for engagement on Academic Arrangement basis against the following vacant posts under S.O. 364 dated 27-11-2020 initially for a period of one year extendable up to a maximum of six years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection is made on regular basis in accordance with the relevant recruitment rules, governing the respective posts, whichever is earlier.

Qualification Criteria as per Govt. Order No. 132 HME OF 2018 Dt. 19.02.2018

The details of posts are given below :

The candidates are advised to enclose the attested true copies of the following documents with their application forms which should reach the office of the undersigned by hand by or before 13/12/2023. No application form shall be accepted after the cut-off date i.e. 13/12/2023. The advertisement notice and the prescribed application form can also be downloaded from the GMC Rajouri website www.gmcrajouri.iq. Candidates are advised to visit the official website on regular basis for any updates. No individual communication shall be made in this matter.

Documents to be enclosed with the application form.

1. Date of Birth Certificate.

2. Marks Certificate of 10+2.

3. Basic/Essential qualification certificates.

4. Any additional higher qualification certificate.

5. Experience certificate wherever required or if any.

6. Domicile Certificate.

7. Category Certificate (if any).

8. Any other relevant certificate.

Any application form found deficient in any respect shall be rejected without any intimation. The eligible candidates shall have to appear before the selection committee constituted by the Competent Authority at Government Medical College Rajouri along-with all original testimonials and other related documents. In case of any dispute, the decision of Chairperson of the selection committee shall be final. The candidate appearing for interview shall not be entitled for any TA/DA. The application form complete in all aspects and accompanied with a non-refundable bank draft of Rs. 200/-(Rupees Two Hundred only) from J&K Bank in favour of Principal, Government Medical College, Rajouri should reach the office of Principal by or before 13/12/2023 upto 04:00 PM at Mehra Campus, Rajouri. Candidates applying for more than one category of post shall have to submit the required application fee separately.

Terms and Conditions :

1. Age at the time of application.

Minimum : 18 yrs.

Maximum : 40 yrs.

2. The Selection shall be made in accordance with the rules prescribed in the Government Order No. 132 HME of 2018 Dated: 19-02-2018 and amendments thereof vide Government Order No.680 HME of 2018 Dated: 10-12-2018.

3. The appointments under these rules shall not be entitled the appointee to any preferential claim for regularization/regular appointment under normal process of selection/appointment

4. The services of the appointee shall be terminable before the expiry of the tenure of appointment with one month’s prior notice from either side.

5. The number of posts can increase or decrease as per the requirement of the institution without any former notice.

6. The selection committee reserves the right not to fill up any post in case of Administrative exigency so demands.

7. The selection committee reserves all rights to change the selection procedure, rules and cancellation of rules.

8. Application form found incomplete in any manner during the scrutiny of the applications shall be rejected without any prior notice to the applicant.

9. Applicant found having made any incorrect of false statement, suppressing material information shall reminder him/her liable for criminal proceedings.

The selected candidates will have to submit an undertaking in the shape of an affidavit regarding abiding of all rules and regulations mentioned in the advertisement notice on Rs. 100/- stamp paper duly attested by 1st Class Magistrate. The selected candidates will also have to submit an undertaking on Rs. 100/-stamp paper stating that he/she will not approach the Hon’ble Court for regularization of his/her service on the basis of the order issued for the mentioned posts or discontinuation of service.

12. The decision of the selection committee regarding appointment of candidates will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.

13. Government Medical College, Rajouri deserves the right to terminate from the job at any time, if the performance of the appointee is not up-to the expectation level. If the appointee wants to resign, one month’s (30 days) prior notice is must. This is without any prejudice to any writ petition pending before any Hon’ble Court of law.
