University Of Jammu Job Recruitment For JRF Posts

Applications are invited from the candidates as per the eligibility (see below) for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under National Mission on Himalayan Studies, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Govt. of India sponsored project ‘Himalayan Alpine Biodiversity Characterization and Information System-Network (NMHS-IIRS)’. The position will be temporary and co-terminus with project, which will last till January 2023, most likely to be extended for another year. Position : Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

Eligibility : First class M.Sc. in Environmental Science/ Botany/Forestry/Ecology/Remote Sensing & GIS (with specialization in Forest Ecology) with 65% marks or CGPN CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 scale or equivalent.

Remuneration per month : Rs. 31.000 + 9% HRA.

Upper Age limit : As per UGC norms.
