Car catches Fire on Jammu-Srinagar National highway

Jammu: A car caught fire on Jammu-Srinagar National highway on Monday morning.

As per sources, a Duster car which was coming from Anantnag to Jammu caught fire on the Jammu-Srinagar National highway, when oil leaked from it.

The driver of the vehicle along with the passengers escaped in time and nobody was injured.

“We are four people who were in this car then oil began to leak from it and suddenly it caught fire due to spark, smoke was also coming from it”, Driver of the car said.

“We left the vehicle & came out with our goods, we tried to douse the blaze, but we didn’t found water anywhere”, he added.

“There was not enough water to control the flames that’s why the car caught fire and burned”, he said
