The positions will be purely temporary and shall be for two years. Eligibility :

First class M.Sc. in Environmental Science! Wildlife! Ecology/ Zoology / Botany I Biodiversity / Remote Sensing & GIS (and allied) with 65% marks or CGPA / CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 scale or equivalent. Applicants for JRF must be NET qualified.

Remuneration per month : Junior Research Fellow (INR- 31 ,000.00 + 9% HRA); Junior Project Fellow (INR – 16,000.00 Consolidated) Upper age limit : As per UGC norms

Study area :

The study area encompasses more than 250 km2 of rugged landscape comprising temperate and a sizable proportion of alpine and nival landscapes in upper Bhaderwah and Bani. Candidates may take note that the project requires intensive and prolonged fieldwork in extreme environmental conditions.
