Youth injured in Militant Attack
A student was shot and injured by unknown gunmen on Wednesday evening in the Watrigam Wanihama area of Anantnag district.
A top police officer told that suspected militants fired upon a youth identified as Sahil Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmad Dar resident of Watrigam Dialgam, a student at Wanihama.
He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. He had a bullet injury in his neck. Till this report was filed, his status condition was not available. Soon after the incident whole area was cordoned off to nab the attackers.
