Policeman injured in Srinagar terrorist attack
He has been shifted to hospital, condition is stable: Officials
A policeman was shot at and injured at Hamdaniya Colony, Bemina, Srinagar on Saturday, officials said.
An official said that unknown gunmen attacked a policeman identified as Hafiz Ahmed Son of Ghulam Hassan, resident of Mathiya Bund, Hamdaniya Colony, Srinagar. “He was injured in the right arm and abdomen,” the official said.
A senior police official said that the injured cop has been shifted to SKIMS Bemina where his condition is stated as stable.
Meanwhile, Kashmir Zone Police on X (formerly known as Twitter) said, “Terrorists fired upon & injured one police personnel namely Mohammad Hafiz Chad S/O Gh Hassan Chad R/O Bemina at Hamdaniya colony Bemina. He has been shifted to hospital for treatment Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow”.
