Recruitment for the Post of Anganwadi Helpers – Mandi
The Application Forms on prescribed format are invited from the eligible female candidates of the below mentioned wards of the Panchayats for engagement as Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan(ICDS) Project Mandi, purely on honorarium basis (Sahayikas @2550/-per month) in pursuance to the Govt. Order No: 222-JK(SWD) of 2022, dated: 30.11.2022 & 103- JK(SWD) of 2023, dated: 28.04.2023.
As per the norms, the unit of selection of Sahayikas (AWH) shall be the electoral ward of the concerned Panchayat.
Criteria for selection of Shahyikas(Anganwadi Helpers) :
1) Married Women candidates in the age group of 18-37 years as on 01-01-2023 shall be considered for the post of Sahiyakas(AWHs). In case no married candidate is available, unmarried candidate may be considered.
2) The candidate should be domicile of the UT of J&K.
3) The selection of Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) shall be restricted to the electoral ward where Anganwadi Centre is located.
4) Minimum qualification for Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) shall be matriculation.
5) Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10th class and selection shall be done purely on merit basis. However, in rarest of rare cases where selection committee finds a widow headed household with no income source or a completely destitute lady with zero source of income in such cases preference may be given if other things are equal.
6) In case no matriculate candidate available in the ward, candidates with qualification not less than 8th standard shall be considered.

b. Academic qualification certificates 8th/Matric/12th (8th in case of Matriculate candidate is not available).
c. Copy of Aadhar Card.
d. Copy of Voter Card.
e. Copy of Ration Card.
f. Copy of Date of birth Certificate/Diploma Matric.
g. Unmarried Certificate from the concern Tehsildar (In case of unmarried candidate).
h. Copy of Death Certificate of Husband. (In case of widow)
i. Copy of Divorce Certificate. (In case of divorcee)
j. Certified copy of the latest voter list as proof of residence. (Certified by the BDO concerned/Ward certificate)
k. Affidavit in the prescribed format given in “ANNEXURE B” duly attested by Judicial Magistrate/Tehsildar.
L. Self-addressed envelope with postage stamp of Rs SP affixed.
