1. Sports Ministry suspends just-elected Wrestling Federation of India
- The Sports Ministry has suspended the just-elected Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) for multiple violations.
- The Ministry suspended the new President Sanjay Singh after he announced the U-15 and U-20 nationals for Wrestling.
- This announcement was hasty, without giving sufficient notice to wrestlers who are to take part in the said nationals and without following the provisions of the constitution of WFI.

2. Lt General J P Mathew flags off JSW-NDA Car Rally from National War Memoria
- The Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC) Lieutenant General, J P Mathew flagged off the JSW-NDA Car Rally from the National War Memorial in New Delhi.
- The celebration marks the seventy-five glorious years of the National Defence Academy (NDA).
- This rally was initiated as a heartfelt tribute to Operation Badli, which traces its roots to 1954 under the stewardship of Major General Enayat Habibullah.
