1. Mirabai Chanu becomes the only Indian Weightlifter to qualify for Olympic
- Tokyo Olympics medallist Mirabai Chanu became the only Indian weightlifter to qualify for the Paris Olympics this year after competing successfully at the IWF World Cup in Phuket, Thailand.
- The 29-year-old Olympic silver medalist finished third in Group B of the women’s 49kg (and 11th overall) at the event to book her berth at the 2024 Paris Games.
- The top 10 lifters from each weight class will qualify for the Paris Olympics

2. FSSAI: Ensure appropriate food products being sold on their websites
- The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has asked all e-commerce Food Business Operators to ensure appropriate categorization of food products being sold on their websites.
- FSSAI has noted that Dairy Based Beverage Mix, Cereal Based Beverage Mix and Malt Based Beverage are being sold on e-commerce websites under the category Health Drink and Energy Drink.
- Consumers can make well-informed choices without encountering misleading information.
