In pursuit of its goal of becoming an innovation led farm University and promoting a culture of start-ups to push Agri-economy in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, SKUAST-K is establishing an “Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship centre (SKIIE)”. The center is required to provide a platform for innovators to convert their ideas into commercially viable products. It shall also provide
services related to patenting and commercialization.
Application are therefore invited from desirous eligible candidates from domiciles of UT of J&K only for the following positions at SKIIE centre. The roles require dynamic person(s) who can be engaged in every aspect of entrepreneurship and start-up eco-system, to handle diverse products, to interact with industry experts & to manage the incubation centre.

1 Chief Executive Officer
Minimum Essential Qualification :
• Masters in Agricultural Business Management/ Entrepreneurship/ Business Management/ International Marketing from any accredited and nationally reputed institute/university with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• 6 years of overall work experience, out of which 2 years of experience in the start-up/Innovation/Entrepreneurship domain, either as Startup Mentor/BDA/start-up founder of a start-up and Innovation ecosystem or in a lead position in a reputed Innovation & Start-up promoting organization/industry for commercialization of technologies.
• Should possess Proof/evidence of mentoring the early-stage startups / innovators in any recognized organization or incubation centre.
• High impact publications/ articles/ books etc.
Desirable :
• Experience of 2 years as Business Development analyst/Business Manager in any reputed government Institute/Organisation.
• Certified Design Thinking Professional from any recognized training Institute/ Organization.
• Should have a good hand in preparation of DPR’s / Policies or Business Models (BMC).
• Should have a strong understanding of start-up companies, technology and incubation, early-stage investments, raising funds.
Name of the Posts : Incubation Manage
Essential Qualification :
• MBA in Marketing / ABM / HBM / Industrial Management / or equivalent from any accredited and nationally reputed institute/ university with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• 4 years of relevant business managerial or Business Analyst work experience with success outcomes or
• 4-year experience in working with entrepreneurs, start-ups, learning/ tinkering labs, incubator or incubation consultancy.
Desirable:
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate, build and maintain strong working relationships with start-ups, entrepreneurs, mentors, universities, research institutions, industry experts, associations, chamber of commerce & industries, state & central government, and angel investors.
• He/she should be well-versed in designing & managing Incubation and Acceleration programs in the Centre with providing high-quality coaching and advisory support to aspirants.

GENERAL CONDITIONS :
The last date for receipt of Application Forms, as stipulated above, shall be the cutoff date for determining the eligibility for the post. Any qualification/experience acquired thereafter shall not be considered.
The application will be accepted in the prescribed format in online mode through University website www.skuastkashmir.ac.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
The applicants shall carefully fill the details in the online application form and the information /details so submitted shall be treated as final for the purpose of determining eligibility of the candidate and no claim, whatsoever, on this account, shall be entertained subsequently.
The reservation shall be applicable in accordance with the guidelines of University Grants Commission/Ministry of Human Resource Department(as amended from time to time) & Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Rules 2005 read with S.O 127 of 2020 dated 20th of April 2020 & S.O 305 of 2024 dated 21st May, 2024 whichever is applicable.
A candidate seeking his/her consideration under any reserved category must be in possession of valid category certificate as on the cutoff date of the submission of online application forms. Category certificates issued after the cutoff date shall in no case be entertained.
Only relevant qualification(s) including category status etc. should be recorded in the Application Form, which shall be in possession of the candidate on or before the last date for receipt of Application Form.
