6 militants Killed in Kulgam encounter, operation on

Another unidentified militant has been killed in an overnight gunfight, taking the toll to 2 in the Mudergham area of Kulgam district on Sunday.

A top police officer said that one more militant body had been sighted in the Madergam area of Kulgam. Their identity is being ascertained

So far 6 militants including two army troopers have been killed in twin gunfights which erupted in Mudergham and Chinnigam area of Kulgam. The operation at both areas are still underway, the officer added. More details will follow. (GNS)
