JKBOPEE Notice for admission to B. Architecture Course – 2024

Reference :

i) Notification No. 079-BOPEE of 2024 Dated 18-08-2024

Consequent upon the conclusion of first round of counseling in offline mode for admission DO to B. Architecture Course-2024 and after receiving the shortfall from GCET, Jammu (School of Architecture, GCET Campus Kot Bhalwal) & GCET Safapora, Ganderbal (School of Architecture Safapora, Ganderbal) vide Notification No. 108-BOPEE of 2024 dated 14-09-2024, number of seats C CO -at remain unfilled. In order to fill up all those seats, it is hereby notified for the information of all the concerned candidates that the Board is inviting the fresh applications from all eligible candidates for a. z admission to B. Architecture Course -2024 in various Govt. Colleges of Architecture of UT of J&K w.e.f. 17-10-2024 to 18-10-2024. in offline mode as per the prescribed form annexed as Annexure A to this notification.

Eligibility :

“No Candidate shall be admitted to Architecture course unless he/she has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate”.

Submission of Application Form :

The interested candidates shall have to submit Registration Cum Counselling Form physically at J&K BOPEE Office Jammu/Srinagar along with the following self-attested certificates w.e.f. 17-10- (0 2024 to 18-10-2024 (upto 4:00 P.M.) :

i. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be, For Candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued ‘by the competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate.

ii. Qualifying marks (12th class) certificate with subjects mentioned above/10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as compulsory subject; (whichever is applicable).

iii. Score card of NATA 2024 or JEE 2024 or both, as the case may be.

iv. Date of Birth (10th Marks card/Diploma issued by the recognized Board).

v. Valid Reserved category certificate, if any,

vi. Fee of Rs, 1200/= to be paid either through P05 machine available at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar by debit/credit card.
No under process certificate will be accepted;

The application Form shall be available at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar and also annexed as Annexure “A” to this Notification.

However, it is for the information of all concerned that afore-titled documents as required for submission of application form shall be considered provisional and subject to change(s) vide any order as may be issued by the Government subsequently.

Note-

1: . The eligibility is bare minimum/provisional and shall be subjected to such changes/bench marks as may be fixed by the concerned University/Authority. The Board shall on receipt of any such communication from the concerned authority/university notify the same, which shall govern the eligibility criteria.

2. The seats in the above institutions shall be filled only after Board receives approval of such courses/intake from concerned Competent Authority, if any pending before the competent authority.

Mode of Selection/Admission:
The Board shall fill up seats on the basis of Merit cum Preference as preferred by the candidates in his/her registration cum counselling form, b In case two or more candidates having same merit, then their tie shall be resolved by considering Mathematics Marks scored in 12th class examination/10+3 Diploma Examination & in case of further tie, the D.O.B of candidate shall be taken into account for selection.

Note-2 :

I) Mere filling of application form shall not confer any right on the candidate(s) for admission.
II) The Board has right to accept /reject any application form at any stage if found false without issuing any notice to the candidate.
