Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates, (Not in Service/Non-PSC), of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for engagement as Assistant Professors in the following disciplines/specialties on academic arrangement basis under S.O. 364 of 2020 Dated. 27-11-2020, initially for a period of one year extendable up-to a maximum of six years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection is made on regular basis by the competent authority whichever is earlier.

01. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation Qualification Certificate).
02. Domicile Certificate of UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
03. MBBS Degree along-with year wise marks cards and NMC/State Medical Council Registration Certificate.
04. Post Graduation Qualification/Higher qualification certificate and NMC/State Medical Council Registration Certificate thereof.
05. DM/MCH/DNB Qualification Certificates in case of Super Specialties.
06. M.Sc/PhD certificates (relevant Medical discipline) in respect of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology.
07. Teaching experience certificate.
08. Research Publications as per Govt. Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 Dated. 04-04-2023.
09. Proof of participation with oral presentation as per Govt. Order No. 282- JK(HME) of 2023 Dated. 04-04-2023.
10. Proof of participation with poster presentation of papers as per Govt. Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 Dated. 04-04-2023.
11. Proof for writing a book or chapter of a book as per Govt. Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 Dated. 04-04-2023.
12. Proof of Gold Medal for overall 1st Position in MBBS.
13. Proof of having secured Distinction in any subject in MBBS.
14. Affidavit duly attested from 1st Class Judicial Magistrate deposing therein that the applicant is not in active Govt. Service.
15. Any other documents, if required by selection committee during the process of Recruitment.
16. A contact Number/electronic mail I.D. must be indicated on the application.
17. Fee receipt of Rs.500/- (Five hundred Rupees only) in the form of pay-in-slip in favour of students welfare fund (SB-0349040100007655), Govt. Medical College, Srinagar.
Terms & Conditions :-
1) The maximum age of the applicant at the time of submission of application must not be or more than (67) years.
2) The selected candidates shall have to enter into an agreement with this institution that they will not leave the Department before the completion of one year’s contract. Abandoning/terminating of the engagement as case may be will require one month’s prior notice on either side, failing which the salary shall not be paid for one month to the incumbent, which shall always remain in deposit with the Department and the same shall be released only on completion of the sanctioned term.
3) In case of misconduct, indiscipline, unsatisfactory performance or any action detrimental to the interest of institute, the engagement of the candidate shall be terminated without prior notice.
4) No application of the in-service candidate shall be entertained by virtue of the existence of S.O. 364.
5) The applications of those candidates shall be rejected who fail to attach any requisite requirements/documents/marks sheets with their application formats.
6) In case any post of the aforesaid categories gets filled up on regular basis during the intervening period from the date of issuance of notification to the date of selection, such post(s) shall be deemed to have been withdrawn/deleted from the notification and the final
