Terror cases : Police conducts searches at multiple locations in J&K Rajouri

Jammu and Kashmir Police today conducted extensive searches at multiple locations across Rajouri district in connection with the terror related cases.

The areas where searches were conducted include Thanamandi, Dharhal, Kalakot, and Manjakote.

Police said that the searches were carried out as part of investigations linked to Case FIR No. 95/2013 registered at Police Station Thanamandi and Case FIR No. 447/2024 registered at Police Station Rajouri.

“These cases pertain to a terrorist network active in Rajouri which with the connivance of terrorist organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has been working to activate overground workers (OGWs) in Jammu and Kashmir to initiate, organize, and execute terror-related activities, ” the police said.

The police said during the searches , incriminating materials and documents were recovered and seized.

Further investigation in these cases continues, the police said.
