Raids underway at Central Jail
The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Police is conducting extensive raids at Central Jail Srinagar since morning, sources said.
Sources said that the raids are part of an ongoing investigation into activities suspected to have links to anti-national elements.
The operation, carried out in collaboration with jail authorities, aims to gather crucial evidence, curb illegal activities, and address the misuse of communication devices such as mobile phones within the high-security prison.
Multiple barracks are being searched, with sources indicating that authorities have recovered several mobile phones used to facilitate unauthorized communication. However, officials have yet to confirm the details officially.
