JK Govt Important Order Regarding Daily Wagers – JK News Today

Order regarding Clarification regarding release of Monthly Honorarium @ Rs. 4000/in favour of Daily Wagers serving as Cooks at the residences of Hon’ble Judges.

No. : 128 of 2025/RG/NG-343(1) Dated: 30-01-2025

Whc~reas, pursuant to High Court Ocler No. 1.533 of 202·4/RG/NG-343-(1)
dated 15-10-2024, monthly honorarium @ Hs. 4000/- with periodical increase
of 10% after evE~ry five years has bE~en extended in favour of the following
staff, for the days for which they have actually performed the said duties on
proportionate basis:

1. Officials posted on protocol duties at Airports, Railway Stations as
also officials posted at Katra and pe!forming protocol duties;

ii. Officers or officials who are performing full time medical protocol
duties at 1-/igh Court Wing Jammu/Srinagar;

iii. One Usher or Orderly working as Cook at the residence of the
Hon’ble Chief Justice/Hon’b/e Judges, who actually perform the
duties as such;

iv. One Jamadar {Usher) deputed with Hon’ble the Chief .Justice/
Judges in the Court.

Note: Before releasing the additional monetary benefit in favour of the
officials at· (iii) and (iv) above, the concerned Registrar Judicial/
Director Finance shall ascertain the information regarding actual
days, the· officials have worked, from t·he Secretaries of Hon’ble t·he
Chief Justice/Hon’ble Judges.

Whereas, a communication No. 457 I AC/HCWJ/2024 dated 07-12·-2024,
has been received from Registrar Judicial, High Court Wing, Jarnrnu, whereby,
a clarification has been sought regarding the release of moni:hly honorarium in
favour Qf the Daily Wagers who are performing duties as Cook at: the
residences of the Hon’ble Judges.

Whereas, in. this connection, a detailed note was placed before
Hon’ble the Chief Justice for kind perusal and soliciting orders of His Lordship
and His Lordship has been pleased to direct as under:

Perused the note. Monthly honorarium @ Rs. 4000/~ be
strictly paid as per Order No. 1533 of 2024 dated 15-10-202411
lr1 view of the above direction, Registrar Judicial, ·High Court Wing,
Jammu/Srinagar and. Director Finance are hereby directed to release the ·
monthly honorarium of Rs. 4000/- strictly in accordance with High Court
Order No. 1533 of 2024 dated 15-10-2024.
