Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates/ doctors (PSC and Non-PSC) who are permanent residents/domicile of UT of J&K for engagement as Senior Resident/Registrar in various disciplines of Govt. Medical College,
Rajouri purely on Academic Arrangement basis initially for a period of one (01) year extendable up to maximum of 03 years subject to satisfactory performance of the candidates.

Maximum age Limit: 50 years as on cut-off date. Selection shall be made as per latest criteria/method/guidelines issued by Administrative Department, Health & Medical Education, Jammu/Srinagar.

The application form annexed with this notice along with requisite documents (self attested) should reach in the office of undersigned by registered post or by hand on or before 19.04.2025 (Saturday) up to 01:30 PM at Mehra. Applications sent by any other mode or after the last date shall not be entertained.

For PSC (In-service) Candidates

a. The in-service doctor shall be paid salary as per their LPC.

b. The in-service doctor shall be allowed to participate in the selection process only with the prior permission of the Administrative Department as per the Circular No: 05-JK (HME) of 2021 dated 21.12.2021 read with Circular No: 02-JK (HME) of 2020 dated 20.01.2020 and Government Order

For Candidates who are not in Government Service (Non-PSC Candidates).

a. The Non-PSC doctors shall be engaged on consolidated pay equal to the revised basic pay which corresponds to the minimum of the pre-revised scale for post of Medical Officer in Health Department as per SRO-193 dated 24.04.2018+ dearness allowance. The appointee shall be entitled to house rent allowance as applicable to in-service candidate carrying the minimum of the pre-revised scale of the post subject to fulfilment of the conditions provided under the relevant rules in this regard. An appointee shall not be entitled to any other monetary benefits whatsoever.

APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED WITH SELF ATTESTED COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:
1. Date of Birth Certificate (10th Diploma/Mark sheet/any other)
2. MBBS/Diploma/MD/MS/DNB/Mch/DM all terms marks sheets and qualification of the respective specialty.
3. Attempt certificate of 1st, 2nd, Pre-final and Final MBBS issued by concerned Universities.
4. MBBS degree and MCI/NMC or State Medical Council registration certificate
5. Internship completion certificate.
6. Distinction/National scholarship/Honours/Medals/Academic Merit Certificate if any.
7. House-job (Jr.) certificate issued by concerned Principal or Equivalent authority.
8. FMGE certificate in case of MBBS degree from outside the country.
9. Professional publications in a standard medical Journal, if any.
10. NOC from Administrative Department Health & Medical Education, in case of in-service (PSC) candidate.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS :

The maximum tenure of Senior Resident shall be (03) three years and no further extension shall be granted under any circumstances vide Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024.

Candidates may note that their candidature will remain provisional till the genuineness of their educational qualifications/documents is verified from the issuing authority.

The candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification and certificates to satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post. If the documents submitted by the candidates are found not substantiated or incorrect by the committee at any point of time, the candidature will be cancelled and appropriate proceedings under law shall be taken.

The appointee shall be required to submit an affidavit duly attested by the Judicial Magistrate at the time of joining to the effect that he/she will not leave the residency mid-way and will serve for the tenure period.

The appointment against the advertised posts candidates shall always be on tenure basis without conferment of any preferential right for regular appointment against the post, which shall be made strictly in accordance with relevant recruitment rules. The candidates who have already completed/doing/left the Registrarship/Senior Residency midway in any discipline need not apply.

Any candidate (doctor) intending to leave the job shall have to provide one-month prior notice duly forwarded by the concerned HoD or else the doctor shall have to deposit one month salary in this institution.

The vacancies are advertised as per the posts which are vacant or likely to fall vacant.

However, the department may withdraw/alter number of vacancies or decides not to fill the vacancies at any point of time till the completion of selection process without any further notification.
