GCET, Jammu Admission Notice Regarding B.Tech. Courses 

It is hereby notified that the candidates who have been selected for Provisional admission in B.Tech. Courses for the Session 2025-26, by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination in Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu (GCET), are required to bring the following documents in original along with two self-attested copies of each:

1. Admit card of CET-2025 issued by the J&K BOPEE. (if any)

2. Subject-wise Marks Certificate of 10+2 Examination. (Qualifying Examination)

3. Matriculation Diploma/Date of Birth Certificate.

4. Provisional Qualification Certificate of 10+2.

5. Domicile Certificate.

6. Migration Certificate of the Board/University from where the candidate has passed the Qualifying Examination. (where ever applicable)

7. Discharge Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.

8. Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended or from the concerned Police Station (valid for 6 months), with a proper dispatch No. & date.

9. Medical Fitness Certificate from the office of the Director Health Services, Govt. Hospital with a proper dispatch No. and date.

10. Category certificate issued by the Competent authority as per the relevant SRO’s (as amended from time to time).

11. Students selected under TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) Category shall not be charged Tuition fee only, subject to production of original Income Certificate issued by the Competent Revenue authority.

12. Students selected under Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Category, in pursuance of Govt. Circular No. 19-GAD of 2019, shall produce the Income and Assets Certificate duly attested by the Competent Authority.

13. Six (06) recent passport size photographs.

14. Online Anti Ragging affidavits (To be downloaded from: https.//www.amanmovement.org/index/infopack)

15. Students intending to avail Hostel Facility (Boys) may download the Form from the college website and submit the same to the Warden, Boys Hostel, GCET Jammu.

The requisite admission fee shall be deposited through online mode after document verification by the Admission Committee.

Note: The Institute reserves the right to withdraw admission at any stage in case any candidate is found to have submitted false information or forged documents.

Candidates will not be entertained for admission if their application form is incomplete or lacking any of the required documents listed above.
