Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates/ doctors (PSC and Non-PSC) who are permanent residents/domicile of UT of J&K for engagement as Tutor/Demonstrator in various disciplines of Govt. Medical College,
Rajouri purely on Academic Arrangement basis initially for a period of one (01) year extendable up to maximum of 03 years subject to satisfactory performance of the candidates.

Maximum age Limit: 50 years as on cut-off date. Selection shall be made as per latest criteria/method/guidelines issued by Administrative Department, Health & Medical Education, Jammu/Srinagar.

The application form complete in all aspects should be accompanied with a nonrefundable bank draft of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) from J&K Bank in favour of Principal, Govt. Medical College, Rajouri into the account mentioned below:

The application form annexed with this notice along with requisite documents (self attested) should reach in the office of undersigned by registered post or by hand on or before 07-07-2025 up to 04:00 PM at Mehra Campus, GMC Rajouri.
Applications sent by any other mode or after the last date shall not be entertained.
For PSC (In-service) Candidates :
a. The in-service doctor shall be paid salary as per their LPC.
b. The in-service doctor shall be allowed to participate in the selection process only with the prior permission of the Administrative Department as per the Circular No: 05-JK (HME) of 2021 dated 21.12.2021 read with Circular No: 02-JK (HME) of 2020 dated 20.01.2020 and Government Order No: 03-HME of 2019 dated 27.05.2019. For the purpose they should route their application forms through the Administrative Department. One advance copy should be submitted in the office of the undersigned. However, no candidate shall be allowed to participate in the selection process without the prior approval of the Administrative Department.
c. In case of selection, they will be allowed to join only after being relieved from their Administrative Department.
For Candidates who are not in Government Service (Non-PSC Candidates).
a. The Non-PSC doctors shall be engaged on consolidated pay equal to the revised basic pay which corresponds to the minimum of the pre-revised scale for post of Medical Officer in Health Department as per SRO-193 dated 24.04.2018+ dearness allowance.
The appointee shall be entitled to house rent allowance as applicable to in-service candidate carrying the minimum of the pre-revised scale of the post subject to fulfilment of the conditions provided under the relevant rules in this regard.
An appointee shall not be entitled to any other monetary benefits whatsoever.
