SPOT ROUND ADMISSION

Admission Notification No. 02 dated: 08.08.2025 For M.Tech (Computer Science & Engg, Mechanical Engg. and E&C Engg.) in Govt. College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu

ACADEMIC SESSION 2025-26

The M.Tech (Computer Science & Engg. Mechanical Engg. and E&C Engg.) aspirants are invited for SPOT Round of Admission at GCET Campus, Jammu for vacant/left-over seats, for the academic year 2025-26. Eligible candidates fulfilling the eligibility criterion are required to report for the same along with all documents/Testimonials in original on 12.08.2025 and 13.08.2025 between 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM.

The provisionally selected candidates shall be required to complete the admission process by 14.08.2025 (upto 3.00 PM) including submission of semester fee. Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate applying for admission to M.Tech programme must be either:

i. B.E. /B.Tech (in relevant branch of Engineering and Technology) with minimum 50% of the marks or equivalent CGPA.

ii. MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science/IT/Electronics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics) with 50% of the marks or equivalent CGPA.

iii. The candidate should be a Domicile of UT of J&K/Ladakh.

iv. All the above-mentioned degrees should be from Colleges/ Universities recognized by UGC/AICTE.
