Kashmir University Advertisement Notice for the Position of JRF
Applications on plain paper are invited from the eligible candidates for the below-mentioned position available under the research project entitled “Development of Microbial Consortia for Improving Growth and Active Components in Bacopa monnieri (L.)” sponsored by the National Medicinal Plants Board, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi.
Position & Number Essential: Junior Research Fellow (01) [@ 31,000+4960 HRA (@16%)]
qualification: M. Sc. Botany or allied subjects with a minimum of 55% of marks or equivalent CGP Grade
Desirable Experience: Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET or equivalent exam will be given preference
• Candidates with expertise in following are strongly encouraged to apply:
1. Microbiology/pathology
2. Experience in growing fungal and bacterial cultures
The applications with full details (Name, Age, working contact number-what’s up, email ID, qualification, etc.) along with photostat copies of relevant certificates indicating qualification, age, percentage of marks and experience in the relevant field (if any) should reach to the Molecular Biology Lab, Department of Botany, University of Kashmir, Srinagar – 190006, J & K, India by or before 7th
September, 2025. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the tenure of the project. The emoluments will be paid as per the guidelines of the funding agency. The date of interview will be communicated separately through e-mail. Furthermore, no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
