Job Recruitment in ECHS Srinagar

ECHS invites applications to engage the following Para Medical Staff on contractual basis in ECHS Polyclinic, Srinagar for a period of one year renewable for additional period of one year (if still attaining maximum age subject to performance of candidates) or other conditions according to the criteria as mentioned against each post

Appointment : Pharmacist

Minimum Qualification : 

(i) B. Pharma from a recognised institute. OR

(ii) 10+2 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from recognised institute. AND

(iii) Approved diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognised by Pharmacy Council of India and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.

(iv) Minimum three years experience.

Preference will be given to ESM and 30% for civilian.

Last date of receipt of applications as per format given on our website: Applications as per requisite format along with self-attested photocopies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualifications and Work Experience will be submitted to OIC, ECHS Cell, Stn HQ (ECHS Cell), Srinagar by 14 Oct 2025 in duplicate. Any application received after 14 Oct 2025 will not be accepted.

Interview Date, Timing & Venue: Candidates must reach Station HQ Srinagar at 0930 hrs on 17 Oct 2025 for interview. Candidate must bring all original certificates/mark sheets/degrees of 10th/Matric, 10+2 & Graduation/Post Graduation / diploma /course, work experience and discharge book, PPO, service records and 02 PP size colour photographs at the time of interview. No TA/DA is admissible

Only candidates meeting Qualitative Requirements may apply.

Candidate’s appointment will be subject to medical fitness. Medical certificate and Police Verification is required.

Only 07 days casual leave per year on pro rata basis.

The Contractual Staff will not be entitled for any allowance, benefits, or concessions as admissible to Govt employees.

Individual selected will also have to undergo OJT (On Job Training) and will be required to sign a contractual agreement with OIC ECHS Cell at Stn HQ. The duration of OJT will remain unpaid and counted as mandatory before assuming charge as contractual employee.
