The total number of vacancies for SAI Performance Analyst Recruitment 2026 is 48 posts, distributed discipline-wise as follows:

Anthropometry: 1 post (UR: 1)

Biomechanics: 1 post (UR: 1)

Nutrition: 4 posts (UR: 3, OBC: 1)

Physiotherapy: 24 posts (UR: 12, OBC: 6, SC: 3, ST: 1, EWS: 2)

Physiology: 4 posts (UR: 3, OBC: 1)

Psychology: 4 posts (UR: 3, OBC: 1)

Strength & Conditioning: 10 posts (UR: 6, OBC: 2, SC: 1, EWS: 1)

Eligibility Criteria :

1. Educational Qualification

Performance Analyst (Physiotherapy): Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Physiotherapy from any recognized University/Institution; desirable 1 year experience in Sports Physiotherapy.

Performance Analyst (Physiology): Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Medical Physiology / Human Physiology / Sports and Exercise Physiology / Biological Sciences; with specified equivalence for B.Sc. (CBZ) and Physiology; desirable 1 year experience in Sports Physiology.

Performance Analyst (Anthropometry): Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Anthropology or Human Biology; desirable 1 year experience in Anthropometry in sports science.

Performance Analyst (Psychology): Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Applied Psychology / Sports Psychology; desirable 1 year experience in Sports Psychology.

Performance Analyst (Strength & Conditioning): Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Strength and Conditioning / Sports and Exercise Science / Sports Science; OR Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Sports Coaching / Physical Education / Performance Coaching with specified Strength & Conditioning certifications (ACSM, NSCA-CSCS, ASCA, UKSCA, NCCA USCCA, NSNIS PG Diploma, NSDC Level 4/6/7, government-recognized gym/fitness certifications, EXOS with ACSM credits); desirable 1 year experience in Strength & Conditioning.

Performance Analyst (Nutrition): Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics / Food Science & Nutrition / Sports Nutrition / Nutrition / Food & Nutrition / Food Nutrition & Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics / Home Science with specified Nutrition specializations; desirable 1 year experience in Sports Nutrition.

Performance Analyst (Biomechanics): Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Biomechanics / Sports Biomechanics / Sports Biomechanics & Kinesiology / Kinesiology (with Biomechanics) / Exercise & Sports Sciences (with Biomechanics) / Human Movement Sciences / Sports Sciences (with Biomechanics) / Biophysics / Physiotherapy (MPT Sports Biomechanics) with Biomechanics as major subject; with specified equivalent Bachelor’s degrees; desirable 1 year experience in Biomechanics.

2. Age Limit :

Maximum Age: Up to 30 years as on the opening date for submission of online application forms.

SC/ST: Relaxation up to 5 years.

OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Relaxation up to 3 years.

Ex-servicemen: Relaxation as per Ex-servicemen (Re-employment in Civil Services and Posts) Rules, 1979.

Departmental/SAI contractual employees: Relaxation as per detailed SAI guidelines, including service-based cumulative relaxation.

Date of Birth Proof: As recorded in Matriculation/Secondary or equivalent certificates; no other documents accepted for age proof.

3. Nationality

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for SAI Performance Analyst posts.

Selection Process :

The selection process will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with the following structure:

Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT) in fully proctored environment with biometric authentication.

Duration: 2 hours.

Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Negative Marking: 1/4 of the marks assigned to a question for each incorrect answer.

 

Sections of CBT :

Section A (Common for all disciplines):

Basic Sports Science Knowledge (Section A1) – 32 marks.

General Sports Awareness (Section A2) – 8 marks.

Total: 40 marks.

Section B (Discipline-specific): Applied Sports Science Knowledge – 40 marks.

Section C (Discipline-specific): Sports-related Case Studies (passage/analytical) – 20 marks.

Final Merit List: Prepared solely on total CBT marks (out of 100). No additional weightage or supplementary evaluation is applied. Tie-breaking will follow sequential criteria based on marks in Sections C, B, A, A1, A2, then age (older candidate) and alphabetical order of name.

Application Fee :

UR/EWS/OBC: Rs. 2000/- (including bank charges and service tax).

SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Women: Rs. 1500/- (including bank charges and service tax).

Payment Mode: Online only via NEFT/RTGS/Net Banking/UPI etc., as per fee structure.

Refund Policy: Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Open the online application format available through the specified link.

Ensure you have a valid email ID which remains active till completion of the recruitment process.

Keep scanned copies ready:

Recent passport-size colour photograph (JPG/JPEG, max 80 KB).

Signature (JPG/JPEG, max 30 KB).

Fill in all details in the online application form carefully.

Upload mandatory documents:

Proof of age certificate.

Valid Government of India ID proof.

Certificates in support of essential educational qualifications.

Caste/Category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-servicemen etc.) in prescribed format, if applicable.

Certificate showing contractual period with SAI (for relaxation), issued by competent authority, if applicable.

Pay the application fee online using NEFT/RTGS/Net Banking/UPI as per category.

Submit the online application form on or before 09.03.2026 (5 P.M.).

Download and safely preserve the registration slip generated by the system containing the unique registration number and password for future reference.

Instructions :

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

Online applications through SAI website only will be accepted; no other mode is allowed.

Candidates must upload all required documents in prescribed formats at the time of online application.

OBC candidates must produce latest Non-Creamy Layer certificate in Government of India format at document verification.

EWS candidates must meet Government criteria and possess valid Income & Asset Certificate issued during the financial year, not later than closing date of online application.

SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-servicemen candidates must ensure eligibility and possess all requisite certificates by closing date of application.

Candidates shall appear for CBT at their own expense.

Educational qualifications must be obtained from Government Recognized institutions/Universities.

Canvassing, undue influence or misrepresentation will lead to rejection of candidature.

Candidates working in Govt/PSUs/Autonomous bodies must produce NOC from employer at document verification.

Fulfilling minimum qualification and experience does not guarantee being called for CBT.

Selection and posting are liable to be anywhere in India; seniority will be maintained on all-India basis.

Appointment is subject to being found medically fit as per SAI standards.

All communication will be through registered email ID and/or SAI website only; candidates must check regularly.

SAI reserves the right to modify, restrict, enlarge, cancel or discontinue the recruitment process without notice.

Any dispute will be under the jurisdiction of Delhi courts; in case of dispute English version of the employment notice shall prevail.

Salary/Stipend

Pay Level: Level-6 as per 7th Central Pay Commission pay matrix.

Pay Scale: Rs. 35,400/- to Rs. 1,12,400/- per month.

Allowances & Benefits: Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Leave, Medical Benefits, and other admissible benefits as per Central Government Rules.
