Applications Invited
Applications on plain paper are invited from eligible candidates (Not in service / Non-PSC doctors) who are permanent residents/domiciles of UT of J&K for engagement as Faculty Members in various disciplines of Government Medical College Rajouri on Academic Arrangement Basis.
Eligibility Criteria :
The candidates should be eligible for the post applied for in terms of S.O. 288 dated 18.08.2021 issued by the Health and Medical Education Department.
Selection Criteria :
The selection of candidates shall be made in accordance with:
Government Order No. 282-JK (HME) of 2023 dated 04.04.2023
The assessment criteria for various posts are as follows:
Professor – Annexure-A (Copy enclosed)
Associate Professor – Annexure-B (Copy enclosed)
Assistant Professor – Annexure-C (Copy enclosed)
Important Conditions :
Candidates who are not in Government Service / Not in Service candidates shall be engaged purely on Academic Arrangement Basis.
The NMC guidelines notified vide Gazette Notification dated 27th November 2020 shall be followed.
Academic Arrangement Basis appointments are temporary in nature.
Age Limit :
The maximum age for eligibility shall be:
63 years for Professors and Associate Professors
50 years for Assistant Professors
(as on 27.11.2020 or as per latest Government norms)
Nature of Appointment :
Engagement shall be purely on Academic Arrangement Basis
Initial appointment shall be for one year
Extendable up to maximum of six years
Subject to satisfactory performance
