Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of online application (08-06-2026). Candidates must be Indian Citizens or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan. A valid GATE score in Civil Engineering for the year 2024, 2025, or 2026 is mandatory – candidates without a valid GATE score are not eligible to apply.
The educational qualification must be from a University/Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC/State Technical Boards. Candidates must possess the prescribed minimum qualification on the closing date of application submission; admission at all stages is provisional and subject to eligibility verification.

Age Limit :
Candidates must not exceed 34 years of age as on the closing date of application (08-06-2026). Age relaxations are available for reserved and other specific categories as specified below. Government/PSU employees are required to submit NOC/relieving letter from their current organization at the time of document verification – no pay protection or past service benefits shall be provided on joining.

NHIDCL Deputy Manager Technical Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The selection process for NHIDCL Deputy Manager (Technical) Recruitment 2026 is based entirely on the best valid GATE score in Civil Engineering obtained in any of the years 2024, 2025, or 2026. There is no separate written examination. Candidates are advised to provide the best of their GATE scores in the online application form. A merit list shall be prepared by the Selection Committee/Recruitment Authority and notified on the company website as per NHIDCL Cadre Rules.
Selected candidates will be allocated to State Groups through a counselling session based on the principle of Merit-cum-Choice. NHIDCL Cadre Rules, 2025 (Rule 6.5 and Rule 6.6) shall apply for placement details.

How to Apply ?
Applications must be submitted online only through the NHIDCL Recruitment Portal, accessible on the official website https://www.nhidcl.com under the Recruitment Section. Hard copy applications will not be accepted under any circumstances. The online portal will be active from 09-05-2026 (10:00 AM) to 08-06-2026 (5:00 PM). Candidates must ensure their Name and Date of Birth are entered exactly as they appear on records during portal registration.
All documents uploaded as specified in the online application must be legible and valid. The Application Acknowledgement and supporting documents must be retained by candidates for verification prior to Offer of Appointment. NHIDCL will communicate solely via email – candidates must provide correct, active email addresses and keep their email ID active for at least one year. No change in registered email ID will be allowed.

Selected candidates must pass a medical test and obtain a medical fitness certificate from a Medical Board of State/Central Government Hospital before joining.
Selected candidates are required to undergo a two-year probation period, extendable up to a maximum of two more years.
All disputes are subject to Delhi High Court jurisdiction, with the English version prevailing for interpretation.
NHIDCL at any stage may cancel the advertisement or selection process without assigning any reasons.
