A total of 13 posts have been announced for engagement as Technical Personnel for the KSITM Project on contract basis. The number of posts shown are tentative and may change depending upon project requirements. Applications finally empanelled after the due process of selection will be inducted as per actual requirement and progress of the project.

All mandatory educational/professional qualifications must be from recognized universities, autonomous institutes, or government-approved institutions in India. Only experience gained after obtaining the minimum required qualification will be considered for eligibility.

Key Skills / Job Description :
L-I Engineer: Understanding of networking and security concepts · Familiarity with common cyber threats and attack vectors · Proficiency in security monitoring tools and SIEM platforms · Analytical skills to assess and validate security alerts · Good communication and documentation skills · Ability to follow established procedures and protocols.
L-II Engineer: Strong understanding of networking and security fundamentals · Proficiency in analysing logs and network traffic · Experience with malware analysis and reverse engineering · Knowledge of scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell) · Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills · Strong communication and documentation skills.
L-III Engineer: Knowledge of incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS) · Proficiency in using and managing SIEM, SOAR and UEBA · Knowledge of relevant security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA) · Deep understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles · Expertise in digital forensics, malware analysis, and reverse engineering · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Proficiency in advanced security tools and technologies · Excellent communication and documentation skills · Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make critical decisions · Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the evolving threat landscape.
 Selection Process :
Stage 1 : Interview (date will be notified after closing date)
Stage 2 : Medical Examination (by medical authority designated by RailTel)
Final Empanelment : Subject to medical fitness and verification of all documents
Note:Â No travelling expenses will be paid to candidates for appearing in screening / interview / medical examination.
 Documents Required :
Candidates must attach self-attested copies of the following documents with the application form and produce originals if called for interview:

(b) Certificates and mark-sheets in support of educational/professional qualifications
(c) Experience certificate from employer; or appointment letter + first and latest pay slips (if experience certificate from current employer is not available)

(h) No Objection Certificate (NOC) – if working in any Govt./PSU/attached or subordinate organization or any public body substantially funded by the Govt.

Note:Â Internships and training will not be counted as experience. Only experience gained after obtaining the requisite degree will be considered.
Important Instructions :
Engagement is purely contractual – initially for 3 years; may be extended based on project requirements and performance; may be terminated earlier due to non-availability of work, unsatisfactory performance, or administrative reasons.
Selected candidates must execute a Service Agreement for one year at the time of engagement. Failure to complete this period will attract a penalty of three months’ gross salary in addition to the notice period.
A mandatory notice period of three months is required prior to resignation.
Candidates must not furnish false, tampered, or fabricated documents. Documents with overwriting or correction marks will not be accepted.
No request for change of email ID or address submitted with the application will be entertained.

Who Should NOT Apply for RCIL Engineer Recruitment 2026?
Candidates who do not hold a Graduation/PG degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
Candidates who do not possess the mandatory certification(s) specified for the post applied (Security+/CEH/ECSA for L-I; Security+/ECSA/GCFA/GCFE/CISSP for L-II; CISSP/CISM/CISA + ITIL/PMP for L-III).
Candidates who do not meet the minimum post-qualification experience requirement (1 year for L-I, 3 years for L-II, 8 years for L-III including 3 years as SOC Manager).
Candidates above 50 years of age (55 years after relaxation) as on the cut-off date.
Candidates below 24 years of age as on the cut-off date.
OBC candidates belonging to the Creamy Layer – they must apply as General category.
Candidates working in Govt./PSU without a valid NOC.
Candidates looking for permanent or regular employment – this is a purely contractual engagement.
