Important : The process is complete only when the application fee is paid online on or before the closing date. Incomplete applications are automatically rejected.
Eligibility Criteria :
Before applying, candidates must confirm they meet all eligibility requirements as on the cut-off date of May 31, 2026.
Nationality
A candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with intent to permanently settle in India. Candidates under categories other than Indian citizen must possess an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit :
Minimum Age:Â 20 years
Maximum Age:Â 28 years (for General/EWS candidates as on 31/05/2026)
Candidates must have been born not earlier than May 31, 1998 and not later than May 31, 2006 (both days inclusive).

Educational Qualification :
Candidates must hold a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. Graduation must have been completed on or after January 1, 2022. Mark sheets and provisional/degree certificates will be required at the time of verification.
NATS Registration Requirement
Candidates must be registered on the NATS portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) to be eligible to apply. Registration on the  government apprenticeship portal is a mandatory prerequisite.
Other Key Eligibility Conditions
Candidates must not have previously undergone or be currently pursuing any apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any organization, including Central  Bank of India.
Candidates who have completed one year or more of training or  job experience after attaining their educational qualification are not eligible.
No Ex-servicemen or Disabled Ex-Servicemen are eligible, and no reservation is provided for them.

Application Fee :
The fee is non-refundable and must be paid online. GST at 18% is charged additionally on the base fee.

Payment is accepted through online mode only. No other payment method is accepted. Fee once paid is not refunded under any circumstances.
How to Apply ?
The application process involves two portals. Here is a step-by-step guide:
Step 1 – Register on NATS Portal Visit https://nats.education.gov.in and navigate to the “Student Register/Login” section. Complete your registration and note your Enrolment ID, which is required for all future correspondence.
Step 2 – Find CBI Apprenticeship on NATS After logging in, visit https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php to find and apply to the Central Bank of India apprenticeship advertisement.
Step 3 – Complete Application on BEEP Portal After applying on NATS, you will receive an email from BFSI SSC ([email protected]) with a link to register on https://beep.bfsissc.com. Complete your final application here by entering caste category, district preferences, and other details.
Step 4 – Pay the Application Fee Pay the applicable fee online through the BEEP portal. The application is complete only after successful payment.
Step 5 – Save Your Application Take a printout of the system-generated online application form after submitting. Do not make multiple submissions; only the last valid completed application will be retained.
Selection Process :
Selection involves multiple stages. Candidates must clear all stages to be engaged as apprentices.
Stage 1 – Online Written Examination
The exam is objective type, conducted by BFSI SSC. It will be taken from the candidate’s own home on their own device – no admit card or examination centre is required

No negative marking for wrong answers
Tie-breaking rule: if two candidates score equally, the older candidate ranks higher (descending order of age)

Stage 2 – Test of Local Language
Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the specified official language of the state they apply for. This test is conducted after qualifying the online exam at a centre decided by the  bank, at the candidate’s own expense.
Candidates who have studied the specified local language at the 10th or 12th standard level (as evidenced by mark sheets) are exempt from the language test.
Stage 3 – Document Verification
Qualified candidates are called to the relevant CBI Regional/Zonal Office for verification of all original documents, including date of birth proof, graduation certificates, category certificates, and any other relevant documents.
Stage 4 – Medical Fitness Verification
Final engagement is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit by a qualified medical practitioner or MBBS doctor, as per the bank’s requirements.
Stipend, Training Conditions, and Benefits
Understanding what to expect during the apprenticeship helps candidates plan ahead.
Monthly Stipend: ₹15,000 per month for the 12-month training period
No other allowances or employee benefits are provided
AIIMS Jammu Recruitment 2026
Leave:Â One casual leave per month; public/bank holidays as applicable; no other leave types
Working hours:Â Same as clerical staff of the bank; no overtime is permitted
No hostel, transport, or residential accommodation is provided by the bank
An assessment test may be conducted after completion, followed by certification as per prevailing guidelines
Apprentices are trainees, not employees – no labour laws or employee benefits apply
Apprentices cannot form or join any union
Contract of Apprenticeship
Candidates selected after document verification will receive a digital apprenticeship contract through the NATS  government portal (https://nats.education.gov.in). They must accept the contract within the stipulated timeframe. No candidate can begin training without an approved apprenticeship contract.
Termination Conditions
The contract may be terminated in the following situations:
Non-reporting on the date of commencement of On-Job Training
Automatic termination on expiry of the 12-month training period
Mutual application to the Apprenticeship Advisor (BFSI SSC) before completion, with stated reasons
Misconduct by the apprentice, with written notice from the bank
If the Apprenticeship Advisor finds either party has failed to fulfil the contract terms
Documents Required at the Time of Document Verification
Candidates must carry originals plus self-attested photocopies of all the following :
System-generated printout of online application/NATS enrolment form
Date of Birth proof (Birth Certificate or Class X certificate with DOB)
Photo identity proof
Individual semester/year-wise mark sheets and final degree certificate
Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates) in the Government of India prescribed format
OBC certificate must explicitly contain the non-creamy layer clause and be valid as on the date of the Language Test (issued within one year)
Disability certificate from District Medical Board (for PwBD candidates)
Income and Asset Certificate (for EWS candidates) issued by competent authority
Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)
Under Section 34 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, reservation for PwBD is on a horizontal basis within the overall vacancies for each state. The qualifying disability categories include:
Visual Impairment (Blindness and Low Vision)
Hearing Impairment (Deaf and Hard of Hearing)
Orthopedic/Locomotor Disability (OA, OL, BL, OAL)
Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims, Muscular Dystrophy
Intellectual Disability (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness)
Multiple Disabilities
A total of 45 seats each are reserved for VI, HI, OH, and ID categories, amounting to 180 PwBD seats across the country.
Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Eligibility
Candidates not covered under SC/ST/OBC reservation and whose family gross annual income is below ₹8 lakh from all sources (salary, agriculture, business, profession) qualify for EWS reservation. Additionally, the family must not own:
5 acres or more of agricultural land
A residential flat of 1,000 sq. ft. or more
A residential plot of 100 sq. yards or more in notified municipalities
A residential plot of 200 sq. yards or more outside notified municipalities
The EWS benefit requires an Income and Asset Certificate in the prescribed Government of India format, issued by a competent authority.
