The Vice-Chancellor will serve as the principal executive and academic head of the University and will be responsible for maintaining high standards in teaching, research, and institutional development.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Professional Excellence
Must be a person of high integrity, competence, and strong moral values
Should demonstrate institutional commitment and leadership qualities
2. Academic Background
A distinguished academician with at least 10 years of experience as a Professor in a recognized University
OR
Minimum 10 years of experience in reputed research and/or academic administrative organizations
Must have proven academic leadership credentials
Recruitment in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya JNV Budgam
3. Age Limit
Preferably not more than 65 years of age as on the last date of application submission
Salary & Service Conditions
Monthly Salary: ₹2,10,000 (Fixed)
Additional Benefits:
Special Allowance of ₹11,250/-
Other applicable allowances as per University norms
Service Terms :
The terms and conditions of service will be governed as per the Act, Statutes, and Ordinances of the University
Selection & Appointment Process
The appointment will be made from a panel of shortlisted candidates
The panel will be prepared by a duly constituted committee in accordance with the provisions of the University Act
Final selection will be based on merit, experience, and leadership capabilities
