Eligibility Criteria for Sahayika (Anganwadi Helper)
Only female candidates are eligible.
Candidates must be residents of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
The candidate should belong to the electoral ward where the concerned Anganwadi Centre is located.
Minimum qualification required: Matriculation (10th pass).
In case no Matriculate candidate is available in the ward, candidates having qualification not less than 8th standard (VIII pass) may be considered.
The selection committee shall prefer the most destitute/needy married women of the ward among eligible candidates.
If married candidates are not available, unmarried candidates may be considered.
Selection shall be made purely on the basis of marks obtained in 10th class.
Application Process
Application forms in the prescribed format (Annexure-A) along with all required documents must be submitted to:

Applications should be submitted by personal delivery during working hours.
Incomplete applications or forms submitted without required documents shall be rejected.
Important Dates
Date of commencement of submission of application forms: 25-06-2026
Last date for submission of application forms: 15-07-2026
No application form will be accepted after 15-07-2026.
Documents Required (Self-Attested Copies)
Applicants must attach the following documents:
Panch/Ward Certificate (Present/Continuous) or Ward Residence Certificate issued by BDO concerned.
Domicile Certificate issued by Tehsildar concerned.
Academic qualification certificates along with marks card of 10th class.
Date of Birth Certificate/Diploma Matric.
Certified copy of latest voter list/proof of residence (certified by BDO concerned).
Unmarried Certificate from concerned Tehsildar (in case of unmarried candidates).
Affidavit in prescribed format given in Annexure-B, duly attested by Judicial Magistrate/Tehsildar.
Self-addressed envelope with postage stamp of ₹5/- affixed.
Document Verification
Shortlisted meritorious candidates will have to appear before the Document Verification Committee along with original documents.
The document verification will be conducted one week after the last date of receipt of application forms.
