The Department of Zoology, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a research project.
The selected candidate will work on the project titled:
“Restoration of Phagosomal Defenses via PI3K–NOX Signaling Reactivation for Host-Directed Control of Mycobacterial Infection”
The project has been sanctioned under the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PMECRG) sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India.

Nature of Appointment:
The position is purely temporary.
The appointment will remain valid until the completion of the project or continuation of the grant, whichever is earlier.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification :
Candidates must have:
M.Sc. in Zoology
Minimum 55% marks
Qualified in any one of the following:
NET
SET
SLET
GATE
Desirable Research Experience
Preference will be given to candidates having hands-on experience in areas including:
Infection Biology
Molecular Biology
Microbiology
Zebrafish Handling
Animal Models
Microscopy
CRISPR/Cas9 Technology
Related Experimental Research Techniques
