J&K Weather Update 9:00 p.m

A cluster of rain-bearing clouds has developed over Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab provinces, totally as expected from the model forecast.

These areas are likely to witness heavy spells of rainfall over the next 12 hours, with a risk of flooding in several locations.

As the weather system advances eastward, it is expected to affect parts of the Jammu region, bringing heavy rain showers to some areas.

Landslides and isolated cloudburst incidents cannot be ruled out.

Water levels in streams and rivers are also expected to rise.

Residents are advised to avoid venturing near rivers, streams, and other water bodies unless absolutely necessary.
