Who Can Apply for BOI Credit Officer Recruitment 2026?
For Credit Officer MMGS-II & III (GBO): Candidates must hold a Graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) from a recognised university/institute or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, CA/CFA/CMA-ICWA or an MBA/PGDBM/2-year postgraduate degree in Banking, Finance, or any credit-related field is also acceptable.
For Credit Officer SMGS-IV (GBO): Applicants should have a Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) along with an MBA/PGDBM/2-year full-time Master’s degree in any discipline, or CA/CFA/CMA-ICWA from a recognised institution.

Credit Officer MMGS-II: 25 to 35 years
Credit Officer MMGS-III: 28 to 38 years
Credit Officer SMGS-IV: 30 to 40 years

Selection Process
Selection for the BOI Credit Officer Bharti 2026 will be through an Online Examination and/or Personal Interview, depending on the number of applicants. If both stages are conducted, the weightage will be 70:30 between the Online Examination and Interview.
Scrutiny of Eligibility: Shortlisting based on documents uploaded at registration.
Online Examination: 125 marks total – English Language (25 marks, qualifying nature) and Professional Knowledge (100 marks), composite duration of 120 minutes.
Personal Interview: 100 marks, conducted for candidates shortlisted based on merit.
Final Merit List: Prepared based on combined scores of Online Examination and Interview.

The minimum qualifying marks in each test is 35% for General/EWS candidates, with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates. There is a penalty of one-fourth marks for each wrong answer in the objective test.

Click on “Recruitment of Credit Officers in GBO Stream Project No. 2026-27/01.”
Click “Apply Online” and complete New Registration with Name, Contact details, and Email ID.
Note the Provisional Registration Number and Password generated.
Fill in personal, educational, and experience details, and upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per specifications.
Preview the application form and click “Complete Registration.”
Proceed to pay the application fee online.
Take a printout of the system-generated application form and e-receipt for future reference.
