1. CCEA Approves Highway Projects Worth ₹14,114.81 Crore
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved two major National Highway projects worth ₹14,114.81 crore.
The projects include:
A 6-lane tunnel connecting Dwarka Expressway to Nelson Mandela Marg in New Delhi.
A Greenfield Highway Corridor in Uttar Pradesh.
Objective:
Reduce traffic congestion.
Improve connectivity.
Lower logistics costs.
Support the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan.
2. India Launches First Greenfield Refinery-Cum-Petrochemical Complex
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated India’s first Greenfield Integrated Refinery-Cum-Petrochemical Complex at Pachpadra, Balotra (Rajasthan).
The project aims to:
Increase domestic fuel production.
Reduce import dependence.
Generate employment.

3. Indian Scientists Develop ‘Placenta-on-Chip’
Researchers in Mumbai have developed a Placenta-on-Chip platform.

4. Japan Reaffirms 2027 Target for Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train
