Notice
The written examination for the posts of Junior Resident was conducted on 04.01.2026 at the University of Kashmir in accordance with Advertisement Notification No. 05 of 2025, dated 30.10.2025.
Out of 883 eligible candidates called for the written examination, 567 candidates appeared in the OMR-based test.
JKSSB Fresh Recruitment for 645 Posts
The result/score sheet of the written examination was declared through Notification No. 01 of 2026 dated 10.01.2026 and uploaded on the SKIMS website.
Subsequently, document verification/counselling notices were issued on the following dates:

06.05.2026
02.06.2026
Now, candidates next in merit, whose names are listed in Annexure-A, are advised to report to the Academic Section, opposite Emergency Block, SKIMS Srinagar, with the following original documents for verification and counselling.
Documents Required
Hard copy of the online application form along with uploaded documents.
MBBS Degree Certificate.
Permanent Medical Registration Certificate (JK Paramedical Council only).
Internship Completion Certificate.
Date of Birth Certificate.
Domicile Certificate.
Marks Certificates (10th, 12th, MBBS/All Professional Examinations).
Any other relevant document/certificate, if applicable.

Important Instructions
Inclusion in the document verification list does not guarantee selection as Junior Resident.
Selection is subject to merit, verification of original documents and eligibility.
Candidates who fail to appear on the scheduled date will forfeit their claim for selection.
No correspondence regarding non-appearance will be entertained.
Candidates are advised to regularly visit the SKIMS website for updates. No separate individual communication will be issued.
