CGPA/Percentage Reckoning Rules

Where a University’s Degree Certificate or Consolidated Mark-sheet mentions both CGPA and percentage, at least one of the two criteria must meet ISRO/DOS eligibility norms.

Where only CGPA is mentioned, the CGPA itself must meet ISRO/DOS eligibility criteria; conversion of CGPA to percentage is not permitted for determining eligibility, regardless of any conversion formula prescribed by the University.

For Dual/Integrated Degree Programmes, if CGPA/percentage for Graduation and Post-Graduation are mentioned separately, the Graduation-level figure is reckoned.

If a common CGPA/percentage is given for the entire Dual/Integrated Degree course, that combined figure is used for eligibility.

Where no CGPA/percentage formula is prescribed for a Dual/Integrated Degree, the cumulative CGPA/percentage as per the Final/Consolidated Mark Sheet applies.

These rules apply uniformly irrespective of whether the University prescribes a conversion formula
