A total of 56 vacancies – 21 posts in Level-3/2 and 35 posts in Level-1 of the Pay Matrix (7th CPC).

Eligibility Criteria :
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
The candidate must be an eligible sportsperson meeting the sports norms prescribed for the applied level (see below).
Educational Qualification
Level-3/2 : Passed Class 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a government-recognized Board/Council/Institution
Level-1 : Passed Class 10th (matriculation), or ITI, or an equivalent qualification, or a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
Northeast Frontier Railway Sports Quota Sports Norms
For Level-3/2 posts (21 vacancies), a candidate must satisfy at least one of the following:
Represented the country in any Category-B championship/event, or
Secured at least 3rd position in any Category-C championship/event, or
Secured at least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships, or
Secured at least 3rd position in National Games organized under the aegis of the Indian Olympic Association, or
Secured at least 3rd position in All India Inter-University Championships organized under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities, or
Secured 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
For Level-1 posts (35 vacancies), a candidate must satisfy at least one of the following:
Represented the country in any Category-C championship/event, or
Secured at least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category), or
Represented a state or an equivalent unit – except in marathon and cross country, where at least 8th position in Senior National Championships is required.

Salary Structure :
Selected candidates will be placed in Level-3/2 or Level-1 of the Pay Matrix under the 7th Central Pay Commission, depending on the post. An exact monthly salary figure is not specified in this notice.
