GMC Rajouri Junior Resident Exam Schedule Released

Conduct of Written Examination for engagement against the tenure posts of Junior Resident, Government Medical College, Rajouri.

It is hereby notified for the information of all the concerned candidates who have applied for engagement against the tenure posts of Junior Resident in Government Medical College, Rajouri, in response to Advertisement Notice No. GMCR/ADM/2026-27/140-144 Dated 29-05-2026, that the Written Examination shall be conducted as per the following schedule:
Date 30.07.2026 (Thursday)

Time 12:00 Noon to 01:00 PM

Venue Government Medical College, Mehra Campus, Rajouri

The list of candidates who have applied for the said posts is appended as Annexure-A to this notification.

 

Instructions to Candidates

1. Candidates shall report at the examination centre one hour before the commencement of the examination for verification of their identity.

2. Every candidate must produce any one of the following original Photo Identity Proofs:
Photo Identity Card issued by a Competent Authority;
Voter Identity Card;
Aadhaar Card;
PAN Card.

3. No candidate shall be permitted to enter the examination hall after the commencement of the examination.

4. No separate Admit Card/Call Letter shall be issued. This notification shall itself serve as the intimation for appearing in the examination.

5. Candidates shall bring only a Blue/Black Ball Point Pen for marking responses on the OMR Answer Sheet.

6. Mobile phones, smart watches, electronic gadgets, calculators, books, papers, bags, study material, or any other unauthorized items are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.

7. Mere appearance of a candidate’s name in Annexure-A or permission to appear in the written examination shall not confer any right to selection or engagement. Eligibility shall remain subject to verification of original documents and fulfilment of all conditions prescribed in the Advertisement Notice and the applicable rules.

8. If, at any stage of the selection process or even after engagement, it is found that a candidate has suppressed any material fact or furnished false, fabricated, or misleading information/documents, his/her candidature or engagement shall be cancelled forthwith, and appropriate legal action shall be initiated as per law.

9. The selection shall be made purely on the basis of merit obtained in the Written Examination. In the event of a tie in merit, the following criteria shall
be adopted in the order indicated:
In case of a tie between two or more MBBS candidates, preference shall be given to the candidate securing higher aggregate percentage of marks
in MBBS.

If the tie still persists, the candidate older in age shall be given preference.
