Cluster University of Jammu has invited applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Field Investigators under an ICSSR-funded Minor Research Project (2025-26). The project is titled “Digitalising Folklore, Cultural Memory, and Oral Traditions of the Sarazi Community.” The engagement is purely temporary and contractual.

Monthly Consolidated Salary: ₹20,000
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
Postgraduate degree in any Humanities or Social Science discipline.
Minimum 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
Fluency in the Sarazi language.
Good knowledge of Hindi and English.
Experience in fieldwork, oral documentation, transcription, or translation.

Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility and submitted documents.
