Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, Division of Veterinary Microbiology & Immunology, has invited applications from eligible candidates for two temporary positions under the NCDC, MoHFW, Government of India-sponsored project titled “Sentinel Surveillance Site on Zoonoses (SSSZ) under the National One Health Programme for Prevention and Control of Zoonotic Diseases (NOHPCZ)”.

1. Data Entry Operator

Essential Qualification:
Graduate degree.
One-year Diploma Course in Computer Application.
One year of experience in the related field.
Desirable Qualification:
M.V.Sc.
Important Note: Students pursuing M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. in Veterinary Science who are currently on roll can also apply.
Monthly Emoluments: ₹20,000 consolidated.
2. Laboratory Technician
Number of Posts: 01
Essential Qualification:
Graduate in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from a recognized University/Institute/Hospital.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
Candidates having a Diploma/Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology may also be considered as specified in the advertisement:
Two-year MLT Diploma/Certificate from a recognized university.
One-year MLT Diploma/Certificate from a recognized university.
Candidates with a two-year MLT diploma should have 1 year of medical laboratory experience.
Candidates with a one-year MLT diploma should have 2 years of medical laboratory experience.
Science graduates should have 1 year of experience in a medical laboratory.
The experience should be from a recognized Central Government/State Government hospital, institute, autonomous institution or private institute.

Candidates having work experience in a Quality Assured Laboratory will be preferred.
Monthly Emoluments: ₹30,000 consolidated.

Important Terms & Conditions
The posts are temporary and purely contractual and will continue only up to the termination of the project.
Selected candidates will have no legal right to claim regularization, absorption or appointment against any regular post or any other contractual engagement.
The posts are co-terminus with the project, and services will automatically end when the project period expires.
The University/funding agency reserves the right to withdraw the advertised post at any stage without assigning any reason.
Candidates who are already employed must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.
The prescribed educational qualifications are only the minimum eligibility criteria. Possessing the minimum qualification does not guarantee a call for interview.
The Screening Committee may restrict the number of candidates called for interview based on their qualifications and experience.
Only shortlisted candidates will be informed through email/phone regarding the interview.
Candidates already in employment must produce an NOC at the time of joining.
Continuation of engagement will depend upon satisfactory performance and periodic appraisal by the Nodal Officer.
