The Central University of Kashmir (C.U.K.), School of Business Studies, has invited eligible candidates for a Walk-in Interview/Interaction for the engagement of Guest Teachers for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Engagement Period

The Guest Teacher engagement will be for the academic session 2026–27, initially for a period of 31st December 2026, which may be extended if required.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should fulfil the following qualifications:

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/PGDM/C.A./ICWA/M.Com., with First Class or equivalent in either the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

Candidates from the NET/UGC-qualified category may also be considered.

Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC regulations may also be eligible.

The Ph.D. degree should conform to the relevant UGC regulations, including the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D.) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, including subsequent amendments.

Note : NET will not be mandatory for candidates applying for subjects/programmes for which NET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or any similar accredited agency.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference may be given to candidates having:

Two years of professional experience after acquiring the Master’s degree.

MBA with specialization in Finance or Operation Management.

Remuneration

Selected Guest Teachers will be paid:

₹1,000 per lecture, subject to a maximum of ₹25,000 per month.

TA of ₹300 per day for each visit.

Accommodation allowance of ₹500 per month.

Documents Required

Eligible candidates are required to bring all relevant documents in original, along with photocopies, including:

Educational qualification certificates

Marks sheets

Experience certificates, wherever applicable

Other relevant supporting documents

One recent passport-size photograph

Candidates should carry these documents with them on the day of the walk-in interview/interaction.

Central University of Kashmir
Tulmulla Campus, Ganderbal, Jammu & Kashmir

Important Instructions

Candidates are advised to reach the venue with all original certificates and photocopies well before the scheduled interview time. The university will verify the eligibility and documents of candidates during the walk-in interaction.
