2. What this advertisement means — explained simply
This is a temporary recruitment/hiring notice for 8 Cluster Resource Coordinator (CRC) positions in Government High and Higher Secondary Schools of District Rajouri.
The positions are distributed as follows:
English: 4 posts
Economics: 2 posts
EVS: 1 post
Mathematics: 1 post
Total: 8 posts
The job is specifically for candidates who are domiciled in District Rajouri and who have a Post-Graduate degree with at least 50% marks.
Eligibility at a glance
A candidate essentially needs to satisfy these conditions:
Be a domicile of District Rajouri, J&K.
Have a valid District Rajouri domicile certificate.
SKIMS Recruitment 2026
Have a Post-Graduate qualification in the relevant subject.
Have obtained at least 50% marks in Post-Graduation.
Be 40 years of age or below as on 1 January 2026.
Apply for only one subject.
Submit the required documents in the prescribed manner within the deadline.
3. Salary and nature of employment
The selected person will receive:
₹25,000 per month
However, this is not a permanent government appointment.
The engagement is expressly described as temporary and is intended to continue up to 31 March 2027, subject to the conditions mentioned in the advertisement.
Importantly, being selected as a CRC does not give the candidate any preferential right to a future permanent government job.
The engagement can also end earlier if the Government makes another regular arrangement or if the requirement for the CRC changes.
4. How the 100 marks are calculated
The selection is primarily based on your Post-Graduation performance.
The maximum is 100 marks:
PG in relevant subject → 85 marks
NET/SET → 3 marks
M.Phil. → 5 marks
Ph.D. → 8 marks
Research publications → 4 marks
Most important point
Your Post-Graduation percentage carries 85 out of 100 marks.
Therefore, the PG percentage is by far the most important component of the selection.
For example, if the PG component is calculated proportionately, a candidate with 70% PG marks would receive:
70/100 × 85 = 59.5 marks
The additional qualifications can then contribute further marks.
5. M.Phil. and Ph.D. are not added together
This is particularly important.
If someone has:
M.Phil. only → 5 marks
Ph.D. only → 8 marks
Both M.Phil. + Ph.D. → 8 marks, not 13
So, having both degrees does not give 5 + 8 = 13 marks.
The maximum available for the M.Phil./Ph.D. component is 8 marks.
6. NET/SET
A candidate possessing a valid NET or SET certificate can receive an additional:
3 marks
Thus, a candidate with NET/SET has a small advantage over an otherwise identical candidate without it.
7. Publications
Research publications can provide up to:
4 marks
The advertisement refers to National & International Level publications. Candidates claiming publication marks should therefore provide the required supporting documents/list of research papers in the prescribed format.
Simply mentioning a publication without the required documentary evidence may not be sufficient.
8. What happens if two candidates have the same score?
The notice provides a tie-breaking mechanism.
Suppose two candidates for English both obtain 72 marks out of 100.
The authority will first compare their Post-Graduation percentage.
Candidate A: 76% PG
Candidate B: 73% PG
Candidate A would receive preference.
If their PG percentage is also the same, their Graduation-level marks/percentage would be compared.
If the tie still remains, the age of the applicant is used to determine preference according to the notice.
9. Documents you should prepare
An applicant should prepare the following documents carefully:
District Rajouri Domicile Certificate
Matriculation certificate
Post-Graduation degree
Consolidated PG marks card
Graduation-related documents, where required for verification
CGPA-to-percentage conversion certificate, if applicable
M.Phil. certificate, if applicable
Ph.D. certificate, if applicable
NET/SET certificate, if applicable
Research publication documents/list, if claiming publication marks
Affidavit in the prescribed format
Other documents required by the prescribed application form
The notice also mentions a Character & Antecedent Certificate from Special DG CID, J&K, but this is stated to be required after final selection, rather than necessarily at the initial application stage.
10. Important dates
| Event | Date/Time |
|---|---|
| Advertisement date | 24 August 2026 |
| Application starts | 23 August 2026 |
| Last date | 29 August 2026 |
| Closing time | 4:00 PM |
| Age calculated as on | 1 January 2026 |
| Maximum age | 40 years |
| Expected temporary engagement up to | 31 March 2027 |
Bottom line
This is a temporary ₹25,000/month CRC engagement in Rajouri, with 8 vacancies. The applicant must be a District Rajouri domicile, have at least 50% in the relevant Post-Graduation, and meet the age requirement. Selection is subject-wise and merit-based, with 85% of the total selection weightage tied to PG performance.
One issue worth verifying: the advertisement simultaneously says applications are to be made “offline” and later uses the phrase “submission of online forms.” Because this could affect how an application is submitted, the safest approach is to confirm the prescribed submission method with the Office of the Chief Education Officer, Rajouri before the deadline.
