Applications Invited for Junior Project Fellow at Central University of Kashmir
Applications on plain paper along with detailed bio-data and self-attested testimonials/certificates are invited from eligible candidates for the two vacant positions of Junior Project Fellows available for a major study on “Centre for Himalayan Bharatiya Swasthya Parampara: Śāstric and Oral Traditions of Ayurvedic Herbal Practices from Kashmir and Trans-Himalayan Regions”, sponsored by Indian Knowledge Systems Division, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The engagement will be purely on a temporary basis for a period of 12 months. The applications should reach the undersigned on or before 30 August 2026, by 5:00 PM, and shall be conducted on 31 August 2026 in the Office Chamber of the Dean Academic Affairs, Central University of Kashmir, Green Campus, Ganderbal from 11:00 AM onwards.

Salary: ₹30,000/- per month
Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Herbal Medicines/Botany/Environmental Science/Biotechnology or any other allied discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.

Desirable Qualification: NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. from a recognised institution.
Desirable Experience
Candidates should have a strong understanding of IKS, data coding, analysis, compilation and report writing.
Candidates having publications in Scopus and other similar indexed journals will be given preference.
Experience in project work, especially in IKS, will be preferred.
Maximum Duration of the Project
The maximum duration of the project is 12 months in two phases.
Further Details / Terms and Conditions
The engagement shall be on a temporary basis and shall be co-terminus with the completion of the project.
The services of an engaged candidate can be discontinued at any time if his/her performance is not satisfactory.
